I bought 2 of these for my different bottles and love them although if you tighten it too much they are almost impossible to remove, there should be a tool to help remove them in these situations.

Great for cold, not great for hot

Works great with cold beverages, but tried with coffee and not recommended. Sprayed when opening after it had rolled around in the floor of the car. To be fair, I'm pretty sure the website and YETI say this is not to be used with hot beverages.

Impossible to break the seal

In theory, this is a great cap because the straw was difficult to maneuver around the ice in my water bottle. I liked the magnet and ease of drinking from the bottle. However, it created such a tight seal that I could not get it off to refill my bottle. I had a number of people at work try, and finally, I had to drive across town to have my son-in-law open it. With effort, he was able to open it, but that isn't saying much, given that he can crack walnuts in his hands.

This bottle cap leaks. I would not buy this bottle cap again. Never had this problem with the chug caps with the handle.

I love the mag dock lid, it makes it easy, not to have a lid line all over the car when I'm grabbing or leaving it by setting it down somewhere. Very convenient.

It’s disappointing, the magnetic part was cool at first. However, the cap does not permanently connect to anything and there is no handle, which makes it a pain to try to carry around.
