Great racquet, well balanced head heavy, stiff shaft racquet. Definitely need some muscle to used the full potential but fairly easy to use as a pro to intermediate racquet. Great control, clearing to back court

I ordered two separate Yonex Astrox 100ZZ Senior Badminton Frames (item# 334230615) from SportChek.ca. The first order was picked up in-store at a SportChek location. Upon inspection, we found that the racket was damaged, and I immediately brought it to the attention of the store manager. Since there was no stock available for an exchange, I was advised to place a second order online and return the first one. The second racket was shipped directly from SportChek’s warehouse to my home. After receiving it, I noticed that it looked different from the first one. The design, details, and overall build raised suspicions — and after checking with Yonex, I was shocked to confirm that it is indeed a counterfeit product. Several clear signs raised immediate red flags: The spec shows 4U: 20–28 lbs, listing only one tension range — which is unusual (see photo 20) The racket bears a “JP” code, which is intended exclusively for the Japanese market (see photo 23) The markings and print quality are off, compared to authentic Yonex rackets (see photos 21 and 24) The shaft is noticeably thicker in the middle, which is inconsistent with genuine Yonex models (see photo 27) This is extremely disappointing and unacceptable — especially coming from a major Canadian sports retailer like SportChek. I’ve uploaded detailed photo evidence so others can review and make informed decisions.
