The York Barbell Standard Weight Plates are designed for home use and are ideal for any exercise program for toning and developing muscles.
Made of solid cast iron and coated in a black baked enamel finish to prevent chipping and peeling.
Ground edges and machine center hole ensure a standardized product.
Standard plates have a 1-inch center hole to accommodate standard bars.
Contour grip design.
Each weight features a black baked enamel coating for a durable product that will withstand grueling workouts.
These weights are available in 2.5, 5, 10, 25, 35 and 50 lbs.

Very good standard weight .

I purchased six 2.5 pound weights made by York , because that size is rather difficult to find and York is a name that's been around in various gyms for decades . The paint seems alright , but since the colour is black you can simply paint it if you wish to sell them later . It fits a 1 inch diameter barbell or dumbbell . Some styles of cast iron weights have hand slots designed into them making it easier to pick up and place onto , or removal from bar ... and they can be used for various exercises where you only want to use one weight without a bar . For weights that are five pounds or less this does the job very well . It's "old-school" style that should last a lifetime .
