We offer a variety of services to keep you and your ski’s in the snow.
Mounting and Adjustments
Ski bindings need to be professionally installed and adjusted by certified Technicians to ensure the safety of the skier. Our Technicians are trained to work on the equipment we sell and a variety of other brands to ensure your skis are adjusted to your weight, skier type, height, and boot.
- First time mount on Ski’s purchased at Sport Chek – FREE
- Ski Mount or Remount - $30
- Ski Binding Adjustment - $15
Alpine Ski Tunes
Our services help extend the life of your product and ensure that you get the maximum performance out of your equipment. Our Technicians can help you determine the servicing options that best fit your needs.
- Ski Edge Sharpen - $20
- Side edge and base edge sharpen
- Ski Minor Tune - $40
- Side Edge Sharpen and Tune.
- Base Edge Sharpen and Tune.
- Base Grind.
- Stone Grind (or Equivalent Belt).
- Clean Base.
- Hot (Machine) Wax (Upgrade to a Hand Wax for $10)
- Ski Major Tune - $50
All components of the minor tune plus:
Base Repair and minor P-TEX work (Major P-TEX work may cost extra)
- Ski Hot (Machine) Wax - $10
o Clean Base and Machine Wax
- Ski Iron (Hand) Wax - $20
o Clean Base, Iron, Scrape, and Brush
- Unlimited Hot Wax Card - $29.99
o Unlimited Machine Waxes for one pair of Skis for an entire year
Ski Boot Fitting and Heat Molding
Having proper fitting ski boots helps ensure that you are comfortable and safe while skiing. We offer several services to help improve the fit of your ski boots.
Heat Molding
Certain boots purchased through Sport Chek have boot liners and/or outer shells that can be heat molded to help the break-in period of a new pair of boots. This service is free for customers that have purchased boots that have this technology.
Custom Boot Fitting
Some boots need to be expanded and punched out to fit different foot types. Select locations offer services to truly customize the fit. This services range in price depending on the time required to perform the custom fitting.
