Very Narrow Fit

I was really excited to try these, but despite the wide toe box, they are way too narrow for my feet. I don’t buy wide shoes, so this particular style is just a miss.

Great cushion but too narrow

The mesh upper is nice. Cushion is very soft and comfortable. Unfortunately the FWD VIA 2 feels incredible narrow compared to other Altra’s. I have both the Torin 8 and Lone Peak 9 too. The tongue connects to the bottom of the shoe and feels way too tight on wide feet. I fell in love with the Torin 8’s, they’re the best running shoe I’ve ever worn. A 10k run in my Torin 8’s is very comfortable, but I can barely make it through a 5k without these shoes shredding my feet and blistering the inside of my foot.

I wanted to love these!

I wanted to love these shoes! However, even though they have a wide toe box it has messed up my ankle and the outside of my right foot!

Weird fit

I love Altra shoes but these have a weird fit in the heel that I’ve never experienced with any other Altra Model. These are very loose in the heel area and cause my heels, especially my left one to pronate inwards when I walk. The be never experienced this with any other Altra Model. Because of this issue I’m going to return them unfortunately

I can’t review about this one because I haven’t gotten this yet even though I ordered this 10days ago. The Sports check web site says shipping is two-five days in Canada! But they haven’t shipped it yet!! What’s going on!
