My 10 yo loves them! He says they're comfortable and he loves the look. We'll see how long they last on the playground, but so far they do seem high quality. I also wear ASICS so I know their adult shoes are very durable for runners.

Asics makes one the few reasonably priced legit kids running shoe with actual laces. THANK YOU! We got our first pair of Asics right before my son turned 6 to make sure he learned how to tie his shoes. Most shoes these days are slip on or velcro until big kids sizes. And a lot of kids' sneakers have soft soles that do not hold up for active kids. I bought these in the next 2 sizes in different colors since the price was decent and they are just what we wanted. Seems true to size, my son loves the color, which is maybe more bight orange than red.

Great shoes

My sons loves the shoes. He recently turned 7 so have ramped up his training for sports. These shoes are our go to training shoes. From running, drills, and playing in the neighborhood. Great support, lightweight, and comfortable. From a former track athlete its well known the track and field community asics makes great shoes for all ages.

Great fit and comfort. These shoes hold up well to daily school and play too. I like that these have actual laces instead of Velcro so that my first grader can tie her shoes every morning.
