Rather meh - poor traction in the rain

Not great, as the trend towards shoe manufacturers cutting back on weight and the cost of materials by not putting full outsoles has gripped Asics as well. While the treaded outsole was new, traction was not a problem. Eight weeks in, the treaded part of the outsole is worn flat, and the shoe is absolutely horrible in terms of traction and grip in rainy conditions. These Asics have a cushiony foam making contact with the ground for about 50% of the shoe. That foam has no tread (just a flat foamy surface) and provides exactly zero traction or grip. Plus, the shoe I bought had a weird Frankenstein-ish toe, where the shape of the shoe-toe looked nothing like the pictures on the Sportchek website, nor the display shoe on the shoe-wall at a bricks n' mortar store. Not impressed. Just hoping to make them last three months since they are breaking down so quickly (to be fair, I put 10K, minimum, on the shoes per day).

No, I do not recommend this product.
