The GEL-CUMULUS® 24 TR shoe is a versatile everyday trainer for various runners covering different distances. From the upper to the foam underfoot, this shoe feels softer and more responsive. Part of their NATURE BATHING collection, this shoe is inspired by the Japanese phrase, ""shirin yoku."" Its colourway draws inspiration from the calming hues found in nature. Meanwhile, its trail-specific outsole is functional for running on off-road surfaces. To improve comfort, the upper features an improved heel fit. Meanwhile, the engineered mesh improves breathability to keep your feet cool throughout your run. This smooth distance trainer is also updated with FF BLAST™ cushioning. It keeps the shoe lightweight while creating a softer touchdown and a more energized toe-off.

Very comfortable and capable shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These really are the most comfortable shoes I have owned. Great not just for running, but for everyday wear too. I grab these whenever I'm heading out for a run on my local trails, especially in the wetter months where the deep and widely-spaced tread pattern works wonders in cutting through the mud and dirt. They have a very stable ride as the stack height is fairly modest by today's standards, yet sharp rocks are seldom felt. I also use them for hiking as well as the occasional recovery day on the roads, where the extra comfort is always appreciated. Although the tread itself is quite soft, so will likely wear more quickly with extended road use. If doing a trail race I would probably still reach for my Novablast TR's over these, but for comfort, they're fantastic. The build quality of the shoe is very high, as I've always experienced with Asics products. Very well fabricated. The outsole is holding up well after 400km so far, with plenty of grip still to be had, and lots of running life left in the shoe to come.
