The knit upper enhances breathability while the ASICS FF BLAST™ Plus midsole cushioning delivers lightweight impact absorption and a springy rebound. ASICS men's gel/Kayano 29s The fit is perfect for the 4E wide shoe.... even though I may not have required it, a 2E or a 4E is beneficial ....great shoe for a lot of walking thus far .... if anything end at the expense of this shoe, it should have better insoles which I have replaced already after one month !

I have purchased probably at least a dozen Asics high end runners in the past few years. I found that they are the best fitting for my wide feet. I like considerable cushioning. I walk 50 to 60 K every week. Most models have been fairly durable compared to other brands. My only complaint is the low arch support. I have to add additional arch cushions as I have high insteps. It is almost impossible to obtain a wide fit with high arch support at a reasonable price.

Had to buy this pair for my 10-year-old so he'd stop stealing his mom's shoes. He's used to wearing Vans and other shoes with very little support so fell in love with the Asics.

I work on my feet climbing ladders and roofs. These shoes are the best I have ever worn and have been only wearing Kayano for 10 years now.
