Great Runner - Exceptional Walking comfort.

Bought 3 Pairs. First was for me, Loved them. Outstanding for running shock/heel strike performance for heavier guys, Exceptional for Walking comfort. Then Wife Bought a pair. Then Daughter bought a pair. Excellent space in Toe Box, laces work well and stay tight. Outstanding breathability Good traction, but may not have the lateral support for rough real uneven terrain. Upgraded from ASICS Nimbus I bought in 2007. Couldn't recommend enough.

First impressions of new Nimbus

Just got pair for upcoming marathon, my first ever and they are very supportive, gives me confidence to kick a bit harder in training and felt like I could have run my first marathon from the moment the went on my feet. PR for 1 mile, 5k , 10 mile distance on my first run and easily finished 21.1km with no discomfort. Haven't had a pair of Mr Nimbus in 4 years but even back then at 320lbs I felt supported, now at 190lbs I feel unbreakable at my cruise pace. Thank you ASICS for another great shoe to encourage my marathon dreams.

Poor durability, worse customer service

After owning several Gel Nimbus and Kayanos over the years, I’ve determined that this would be my last pair as a result of questionable durability and even less impressive customer service on the part of ASICS (and sadly on the part of SportChek as well). The lining on the inner portion of both shoes start to tear after less than a month of light wear while walking (could you imagine if I was an actual runner?) and ASICS first told me it was due to the material itself being very soft (really?) and later that it was a result of excessive movement of my heel in the shoes (also, really?). Just ordered a new pair of Brooks from Altitude and hope to have a better experience.

No, I do not recommend this product.
