This is my third ASICS footwear purchase in four months, and I am 'thrice' satisfied. The Sonoma 8 enjoys a firm, controlled heel response reducing vertical heel movement, and optimizes for forefoot-active sessions. Performs well on light trail runs, fast hikes, and is especially well-suited to reactive locomotor terrain parsing (rapid descent style). Firmer midsole than Trabuco 14 and MT GTX, feels best-suited for higher tempo trail exploration and Fartlek sessions. Comfortable, accurate fit (men's size 13). Toe box is accommodating and snug. Excellent colourway and materials. Dependable, and easy to tune. Easily recommended. Invest in how you inhabit the spaces of your life.

Very comfortable, light but good quality; gel sole is very much helpful for shock absorbing; I like design of the shoes overall, with combination of orange and dark blue colors.
