Defected shoe - poor quality - ASICS denies it

I bought a pair of superblast 3s from asics 2 weeks ago. After a single run I noticed a gap in the front of my shoes filled with glue - the material seems to have been cut short leaving a gap and a web of glue. I sent an email to the warranty team with pictures and explained that I went on a single run and noticed the gap. They told me I must have damaged them after a single run on a sidewalk and that this is considered “wear and tear”. They now won’t answer any of my emails even though I have proof that it’s a defect and that I’ve only had them for a few days before seeing the defect. Everything is recorded via Strava as us runners record everything. I run on sidewalks and paved paths. I’m a married 31 year old with a full time job- I don’t have time to make fraudulent claims to companies and yet that’s exactly how I was treated. They refuse to answer me and the fact that they said I damaged them after one run without asking for more proof is extremely rude and unprofessional. I wouldn’t reccomend these shoes to anyone due to how this company conducts business. I wouldn’t want to represent a company that blames customers and accuses them of fraud when I clearly have proof that this is a defect and not “wear and tear” as they stated from a single run. Unprofessional and not a reputable company. I expected better quality and service for $270 pair of shoes. Save your money and buy some evo SLs from adidas. Great everyday runner and much more affordable for your everyday runner. I will continue to give them negative reviews by word of mouth and share my story with other runners online and in person.

Accelerated outsole wear

After 200 miles of use, runners may experience outsole peeling/separation. This is considered normal wear and tear by ASICS, and is not covered by their limited warranty.

Unreal shoe that does it all. Amazing cushion and can pick up the pace. Recently bought the Saucony triumph 24 that just came out and wish I just got this from the beginning. Little softer and perfect for long runs. If you’re new this is all you need, but you may want something in addition to this that’s faster if you’re a bit more experienced.

Doesn't work for me, and I think these were used

Bought for long runs The shoe performed well, theyre just not quite right for me. They feel a bit flat snd non propulsive on landing. At that price point I'd go with the nimbus instead for this. Ultimately I returned to my tried and true Saucony Triumph which were on sale for 1/3 of this price.
I also think these superblasts were a return and previously worn...

I received the shoes but I am not happy at all because the bottom of the shoes was dirty and it was clear that they had been used a little and the packaging did not look like a new shoe.

Softer, nice roll, and versatile

I’ve been running in the ASICS Superblast 3 for about a month now, and honestly, it’s quickly become one of my favorite shoes in rotation.
Right off the bat — the look is incredible. ASICS really nailed the design on this one. It’s sleek, modern, and stands out in the best way whether you’re on a run or just wearing it casually.
Performance-wise, the biggest improvement for me over the Superblast 2 is the ride feel. The cushioning is still super responsive and protective, but it’s noticeably less stiff, which makes longer runs feel smoother and more natural. You still get that energetic bounce, but with a bit more comfort and flow.
What really makes this shoe shine is its versatility. I’ve used it for:
Easy runs
Tempo efforts
Longer distance days
…and it handles all of them effortlessly. It’s one of those rare shoes where you don’t feel like you need to switch pairs depending on the workout.
Overall, the Superblast 3 hits that sweet spot of style, comfort, and performance. If you’re looking for a do-it-all running shoe that feels great underfoot and looks just as good, this is an easy recommendation.
