ASICS Women's Gel-Nimbus 27 Running Shoes

I have been searching for a comfortable and sturdy shoe , and I have finally found them!

I've been a fan of the Gel Nimbus and wanted to upgrade from my Gel Nimbus 25. It performs just as always. Great support, perfect cushion, and I feel great after long runs.

I have bad plantar fasciitis and these are amazing for my feet. I can still get my walks in.

They’re amazing for long runs. As someone who underpronates and is injury prone, these feel like a cloud and I look forward to using them.

I finally made the move to wide and I could not be happier!

Most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned! FAR better than Hokas! I hope these will always be available - or at least some version of them! SUPER cushy but stable, and WITHOUT the calf-burning, wobbly feeling like I’m walkin in deep sand that all the plush Hoka models feel like to me. I had to make a fast trip out of state when my mom fell ill, and I had only the sandals on my feet. Soon realized that was a mistake, with all the walking I was doing. Sought out decent sneaks for support & walking - saw these in the store and thought they’d be TOO soft given the thick soles. They were *joyous* and springy, literally making it possible for me to walk quickly again after years of slow walking with painful feet due to plantar fasciitis, heel spurs from the PF, and now - oh joy of being mid-50’s - arthritis in my toes. These have an AMAZING stay-put, stretchy tongue that is thin & not at al bulky. Between that tongue & a soft, stretchy heel loop, slipping these babies on every day is literally a little burst of joy at how good these feel from the second I put them on. The regular width are wearable for me if I wear quite thin socks. The wides allow me to wear cushioned or regular athletic socks and still have plenty of room in the toe box. I loved my first pair (reg width) so much, when I got home, I immediately found these online and bought 2 more pair - including the solid black in wide, which I can wear to work in the office. Not the most fancy “office wear” per se, but at my age and with my physical limitations, people don’t even question it.

Very comfortable. Fits a little roomier than previous versions, but I am still in the same size.

I’m a nurse and these are my favorite shoes for 12 hour shifts! Very supportive and I like the extra heel height. Finally found a good pair of sneakers that support my feet all day!
