Axon - Great shoe! Just one thing…

These shoes are great. I am giving it a 5 because for the average person, they will be fantastic. I have significant issues with the joints in my feet, so if these are comfortable for me, then they are pretty great shoes. The one issue I personally have is that the toe box is not quite as roomy as I would like and the fabric on the top of the shoe and arch area clings to my foot too much which will result in a hole at some point. I compare these to the Jazz series and I prefer the toe box and construction of the upper in the Jazz. However, the arch support, shock absorbers, forward propulsion, light weight etc of the Axon is amazing! I take the insert out and put my own in, as with all my shoes. The Axon accommodates that well, aside from the clinginess of the upper around the toes and metatarsals. I use these shoes for long distance speed walks and a bit of running and my feet feel energetic and well supported throughout. I am pretty light on my feet, 5’6” and 114 lbs. I have what I consider pronounced supination, greatly favouring the outside of my feet. These shoes seem to help stabilise my position. I wear a 7 or 7 wide, typically, to accommodate my joint issues. I ordered a 7.5 in the Axon and they fit well. No width issues. - I highly recommend the Axon. It’s a great shoe for a reasonable price. And, I kinda like the bit of extra height!

I'm on my feet all day at work and these are super comfy. Simple, not too flashy. I like that I can remove the insoles and pop in my orthotics, too.

I just bought my second pair

I bought a black pair in march and tested them out for a few months before I decided to write a review. Honestly, I don't think I've ever worn a comfier running shoe and they are super flattering on the foot. Yes- the sole is chunkier, but the curve pushes you forward for a smooth run and they provide amazing support. HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
