Under Armour Men's Charged Bandit Trek 2 Hiking Shoes

These boots were on sale and I’m glad I bought them. Very comfortable, strong, durable boot. Can’t wait to put them to the test on some big adventures!!

It’s most definitely lightweight as advertised, and very breathable, a decent shoe for a leisure hike but there’s not enough support for a more intense hike over uneven terrain. It feels like my foot can slip over the edge of the bottom sole due to its flexibility. Won’t be wearing these for hiking but maybe for short dog walks.

The bottom on my right shoe the tread is coming off on the heal. Like the glue never got on it to seal it to the shoe.

I have two pair of these now. The black pair and a green pair. I liked the green ones so much I bough the black ones to use when these wear out.

Lightweight, good grip, decent support. Not waterproof, but dries quickly and is well vented so feet don’t overheat. Soles could be more durable, but they held up pretty well considering I was working in them 3 months straight.

I was excited to use these hiking shoes on some actual trails. They're light, have good support, and fit great. When it comes to actually using the shoes for hiking, I honestly wouldn't suggest it. They perform well on well maintained trails (paved, dirt, or even lose gravel on even terrain) but I wouldn't trust these shoes for anything beyond that. I used these shoes on a 5 day hiking trip in Utah. The type of trail varied but there were many trails that were minimally maintained so I was walking over rocks, sand, and other uneven surfaces while going up and down in elevation. They were performing well until the last day of the trip. I was going down a steep hill on loose rocks and I suddenly felt my right foot slip. I was able to catch myself from falling, which was good since there was a steep drop to one side. When I looked at the bottom of my shoe I saw that a portion of the tread had ripped and partly peeled off the bottom of the shoe. This was highly disappointing and dangerous. I can't return these hiking shoes anymore since I've actually worn them and they're no longer in pristine condition after several days of hiking and the torn tread. If you plan on actually using the shoes for what they're supposedly for (HIKING), I would suggest you buy them from somewhere else. These won't last long so you're better off paying more and getting better quality with a company that has some sort of warranty on their craftsmanship after the shoe had been used.
